PSIA-AASI: Brand Strategy

Overview:

I directed brand strategy experience, collaborating with nine regional groups to establish, monitor and universally adopt brand standards.

Objectives:

Strengthen Brand Experience and Consistency:

  • Revisit and enhance the current brand strategy.
  • Focus on foundational elements such as logos, colors, fonts, and taglines.
  • Reinforce brand consistency across national and divisional communication channels.

Empower Regions with Branding Toolkit:

  • Develop and provide a comprehensive branding toolkit for regions.
  • Encourage adherence to brand standards for stronger messaging and increased regional awareness.
  • Foster brand consistency to amplify the impact of communications.

My Role:

  • Led collaboration with nine regions and a branding agency to build, approve and strategically elevate the brand.
  • Created an ongoing marketing and communications advisory group, managed two website redevelopments and executed brand content and style guides to ensure consistent branding across all channels.
  • Oversaw the development of an online toolkit, including ads, brand standards, email templates and a portal for printed items.

 

Results:

  • Implemented brand content and style guides, resulting in a 30% boost in membership engagement.
  • Achieved a more unified identity, enhancing brand consistency across all regions.
  • Developed a social media style guide and expanded the online communications toolkit.
  • Enabled regions, member schools and members to access a comprehensive online toolkit, promoting affiliation with the organization and driving awareness through consistent brand use.
